Details of the changes to Reports

Based upon the feedback that we received during the initial release of the sidebar and new reports over the summer, we've made the following changes (below, the term "production" means the system that is currently available to all members at http://mls.gsmls.com/member/).

  1. Labels are now a normal font while data uses a bold font. This matches production.
  2. For viewing only (not printing) the primary font size has been increased from 11 to 12. This is bigger than production.
  3. The information has more spacing vertically. This more closely matches production.
  4. If there is available space, the reports will take all of the available horizontal space. This matches production but it is important to remember that side toolbar takes some space.
  5. The layout of the fields for Rooms, Bedrooms, Full Baths and Half Baths has been changed so that those 4 fields are all in a single column. As a side effect, Handicap Modified has been moved from the top of the report to the INTERIOR section and SDA has been moved the bottom of the far right column in the top section.
  6. We've moved Commissions and Business Relationship to the last line of SHOWING INFORMATION. We did this to allow the data in OFFICE INFORMATION to spread across the entire report to stop wrapping that occurs when Office/Agent names are long or phone numbers have extensions.
  7. The blue bar at the top of the report has been changed to a darker blue color and the font of List Price is larger to improve readability. When printing, the blue color is dropped from all information bars.
  8. Commissions (BB, TB, & SB) have been moved to the Listing Office section and are listed right to left in alphabetical order.
  9. Listing Type (LType) has been moved to the Listing Office section as well.
  10. LenderApprovReq and OTP have been moved to the Financial Information section.
  11. Interior and Exterior features are now placed in alphabetical order.
  12. On all reports, the Street Address has been moved to the middle of the report because we learned that when you print and staple reports, the information at the top left gets hidden. With this change, only the County Name is likely to be hidden by a staple.
  13. With the exception of the top section to the right of the property photo and the Financial Information/Tax Information sections, if a field does not have data, we collapse the space that would otherwise be consumed by a blank Field Label. This has allowed to fit the vast majority of listings on a single page. If you would like to view a listing, for reference, that has all fields showing on the report, please search for ML# 2977789 .

The Side Toolbar

  1. The side tool bar now contains all of the functionality that exists on current reports (links Listing Archive, Tax Report, Media Report and the Map)
  2. Links are hidden if the data isn't available. For instance, if this is the only listing of the property, the Property Archive link is hidden.
  3. We've also added links, when the data is available, to Open House information.
  4. The Media link includes a count of the number of images available
  5. The Property Archive link includes a count of the total number of times the property has been listed and linked to the same tax record.
  6. After using an ML # hyperlink, if you have a report on the screen that allows vertical scrolling, the sidebar menu will remain visible when you scroll.
